多媒體課件、自制導游證（與學生數相同）、自制地圖（掛圖一張、學生用每人一張）、mr green人物圖片1張，單詞和句型卡片。

t: （播放一些常熟的風景圖片）what place is this?
s1: changshu.
t: yes. changshu is a garden city. she is very beautiful.
look! (出示人物圖片)mr green is on holiday in changshu. what should we say to him?
ss: (引導學生說出) welcome to changshu.
t: he wants to visit some places and he also wants to buy something. then he wants to go to shanghai by train. but he does not know the way.(教學單詞way) can you help him?
ss: sure./yes.
t: good. let’s see which places he wants to go .
step 2.presentation
1. learn the new words.

3. read the new words
4.鞏固新單詞。（看空白時間表，說出mr green要去的地方）
t：let’s recall mr green’s timetable.
ss:（say the names of the places.）
5.learn the sentence patterns
1)teach the new words: street, crossing.
t: he wants to visit these places. here’s a map of changshu.(出示地圖)
t：（手指地圖上的路）what’s this in english?
s1: it’s a street.
t: good. it’s a street . and what’s this in english?(手指十字路口)
s2：it’s a crossing.
t: well, it’s a crossing.（手指第一個十字路口）the first crossing.（再指第二個十字路口）the second crossing （師范說，生跟說）
2）（師手指“左轉”、“右轉”兩個圖標）what does this sign mean? what does that sign mean? 引出詞組turn left, turn right.
play a game: (listen and do)
t: turn left./ turn right.
ss: (邊跟老師說，邊做出相應的動作。)
3) 引出新句型。
t: mr green does not the way. he needs a guide(出示導游證). let’s try to be a good guide, ok?let me try, first. （拿出一個導游證掛在自己胸前）
