step 1: 課件出示教師自編的歌詞,教師套用《雪絨花》的曲調先自己清唱一遍,再帶領同學們齊唱,第二遍唱時,教師把家庭成員的圖片貼在大樹上,從而復習家庭成員的單詞。歌詞內容如下:
family tree, family tree
all my dears are in the tree.
father and mother, brother and sister
we have good time everyday.
my uncle is a doctor, my aunt is a teacher.
i am still a pupil.
family tree, family tree
all my dears are in the tree.
教師指著樹上的人物依次問學生:is this your father/mother/…? 引導學生會回答: yes,he/she is. no, he/she isn’t. 問過兩三遍以后,示意學生主動問教師。
step 2: 游戲find my grandpa.
t: i have a big family. there are eight people in my family. but you can only see six. my grandparents are missing. can you find them?
ps: great!
t: tom, is this your grandpa?
pt: no, he isn’t.
t: please ask and answer one by one.
出示爺爺的圖畫,讓學生依次傳圖畫同時前一個學生問is this your grandpa? 后一個學生答no, he isn’t.當傳到手中有爺爺的簡筆畫的同學時,他要說yes, he is. 在學生傳的時候,教師板書這個問句和兩個相關答句。然后再用grandma代替grandpa做這個游戲。
step 3: let’s do.
請游戲中找到奶奶的同學做動作模仿奶奶,再請全班一起模仿爺爺、醫生、護士、教師、司機、棒球手和農民的動作特征,最后請全班跟教師邊說邊做動作。
act like a teacher/driver/doctor/nurse/farmer/baseball player.
step 4: 翻圖片復習職業。
教師依次將黑板上的人物圖片翻過來,體現出其職業,問學生:what’s my father/mother/…? 學生看圖片內容回答:he is a … .圖片上的人物職業和課本對話中amy家人的人物職業相符。
step 5: 游戲: what’s you father?
教師請一、三大組的同學齊問:what’s my father? 第二組同學依次起立回答he is a … . 其他同學家人的職業如果正好是該同學所說的職業,要立刻起立說:my father is a driver, too. 然后一個接一個問答,直至第二組每一位學生都回答一遍。
t: now, let’s play a game. group 1 and 3, you ask: what’s your …? and group 2, you answer these questions one by one. if your family’s job is the same, stand up and say ”my … is a …, too.”

step 1: 看課文動畫,找出amy家人的職業,對話分4段,共找6位家人的職業。回答問題正確的同學將得到一張家庭照片作為獎勵。
t: boys and girls, now you know each other much more than before. but do you know amy’s family? let’s watch the cartoon and answer the question: what’s amy’s uncle/aunt/father/mother/grandpa/grandma?
