教學目標:1.能夠聽、說、認、讀單詞:doctor, nurse, driver, famer和baseball player, 并能介紹人物的職業。
2.能聽懂、會說句型:what's your father? my father is a doctor. 并能做替換練習。
一、教材分析
本課的主要句型是詢問某人的職業及回答。通過sarah和chengjie的對話,讓學生掌握what's your fanther? my father is a doctor.這一句型。在學習對話的基礎上,學習詞匯baseball player, driver, doctor, farmer, nurse.并能讓學生做替換練習
二、教法建議
教師可通過歌謠、歌曲和游戲來復習與本課有關的單詞, 通過談論家庭引出家庭成員。
教師可做連鎖游戲操練課文中出現的已學內容,讓學生用英文描述自己爸爸、媽媽的特征和愛好。用teacher和student兩個詞帶出句型what's he/she? 然后讓學生看自制課件,在操練單詞中學習對話。兩人一組根據實際情況做對話練習。教師可適當告訴學生一些其他職業的詞匯。
重點:詞匯:doctor, nurse, driver, farmer, baseball player.
句型:what’s your father? my father is a doctor.
難點:單詞發音:baseball player
my father is a doctor.中的“a” 的強調。

教學過程:
(一)熱身/復習(warm-up/revision)
1.做“what’s missing”游戲:教師使用詞卡father, mother, brother, sister, grandfather, grandmother, 讓學生認讀,然后抽出其中一張,讓學生再次認讀后說出少了哪一張。
2.教學歌謠:
可愛的home。
home是我可愛的家,
墻上的picture美佳佳。
右邊的woman是mother,
左邊的man是father.
可愛的friend是誰呀?
是我student 人人夸。
3.sing a song《come and see my family》
(二)呈現新課 (presentation)
1.talk about the family: how many people are there in your family? who are they?
2.模仿老師說句子,做連鎖游戲:my mother is thin, she likes music. what about your mother/father/brother/sister…?
3.教師指著自己說:i’m a teacher. 再指著一名學生說:he is a student.然后自問自答:what’s he? he is a student. 教師問學生:what’s he? 引導他們說出:he is a student.
4.教師分別拿出畫有醫生、護士和農民的圖片,問學生:what’s he/she?引導他們說出:he/ she is a doctor/nurse/farmer.并教讀這三個單詞。
5.教師分別拿出畫有baseball player和driver的圖片,啟發學生通過提問what’s he/she?來得知答案。并學習baseball player, driver.
6.看教學視頻課件做對話練習。
可參考的對話內容:
what’s your father? my father is a doctor. he’s tall. he likes sport.
what’s your brother? he’s a baseball player. he’s strong. he likes sports.
what’s your mother? my mother is a nurse. she’s thin. she likes music.
