課前準備
教師準備教學過程中所需要的圖片、聲音和課件。
教師準備錄音機及錄音帶。
教學過程
warm—up（熱身）
(1) 動一動
① 教師在教室各處貼放所學的單詞“curtain, closet, mirror, end table, trash bin, air-conditioner”
② 教師說單詞，如“curtain”，學生迅速跑到相應的單詞位置上。（若班上人數多，可以分小組活動）
presentation（新課呈現）
⑴ let’s talk
① 教師播放“let’s talk”部分的錄音三遍，而后提出問題：“sarah的家中有什么？”。
② 再放錄音一遍，學生回答出：“there is a closet, a mirror, an conditioner. there are curtains.”。
學生邊說，教師邊在黑板上畫出簡筆畫。
③ 再放錄音一遍，教師指著黑板上每樣東西提問學生。如指著衣櫥問：“what is it like?”，學生根據所聽內容答出：“it’s big.”或“there is a big closet.”。
④ 教師請若干名學生到黑板前說一說有什么東西，是什么樣子。如“there is a big closet. there is a new mirror. ”。
⑤ 學生兩人一組做對話練習，分別扮演“sarah”和“chen”。
⑵ 說一說
① 學生看圖，教師請學生說一說這是什么樣的房間，并領讀“living room”。
② 學生兩人一組，用“there is a … in the living room/bedroom.”說一說每間屋里有什么。
let’s play（趣味操練）
⑴ let’s try
① 教師播放錄音，學生看圖完成“listen and circle”。
② 教師請若干學生說出所圈單詞，其他同學判斷對錯。
⑵ talk and draw
① 教師把“talk and draw”的圖復印下來發給學生。
② 教師播放“talk and draw”部分錄音，學生在紙上畫出相應的物品。
③ 請若干名學生說一說畫的是什么：“there is a small closet.”等，其他學生判斷對錯。
④ 學生打開書，教師播放錄音學生跟讀。
consolidation and extension（鞏固與擴展）
⑴ 聽一聽
學生完成活動手冊a部分的第一題 listen and match。
⑵ 玩一玩
① 教師展示課件，向學生介紹：有四間屋子，你能不能把物品放到它相應的房間里。
② 教師領讀：kitchen, dining room
③ 教師請若干名學生 操作課件，拖放物品到相應的房間里，并說：“there is … in the … room.”。

教學重點
1.能夠聽、說、讀、寫句子：there are two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room. there is a mirror, a bed and a big closet.

掌握四會單詞和句子的正確書寫。
