教學建議：
一.warm up
1. oral pactice
2. let’s chant.
my grandpa is old, my mother is young.
my father is tall, my little brother’s short.
zoom is heavy, zip is funny.
they’re all very kind, and i’m kind too.
二.presentation and practice
1. 讓學生當小導游介紹自己各個學科老師風采。教師根據學生的介紹板書出示兩個重點句型，然后教師提問，學生回答。
eg. s: mr. chao is my math teacher. he’s thin and short.
t: who’s your math teacher.
s: mr chao
t: what’s he like?
s: he’s thin and short.
2.（事先請學生準備好）課上請幾名學生以啞劇形式并配道具表演各種神態或動作，并掛上表示職業的胸卡展現給學生。
t: look. there are three new teachers here. they want to meet us.( 接著學生表演)
t: do you have new teachers?
ss: yes. we have a new science teacher.
t: who’s your science teacher? (可由學生提問)
ss: miss hu.
t: what’s she like? (可由學生提問)
ss: she’s very young and kind.
3.讓學生三人一組自創對話。也可擴充談論computer teacher, p.e. teacher. music teacher etc.
4.活動設計
用學生課前準備好的一張心目中最理想的學科教師圖片，請學生自由對話。教師規定必須使用以上兩個句型，組后評出一位最受歡迎的老師。
open your book.聽錄音let’s talk 部分，讓學生進行對話表演。
三. home work
請學生描述一位自己喜歡的老師或家庭成員。
第三課時教學目標與要求：
能聽懂、會說本課時單詞及詞組：principal, university student, strict, smart, actice:
能聽懂、會說句型：who’s -----? he’s from----- what’s he like? 并能在情景中運用
能聽懂let’s chant 的歌謠，并按節奏來念
能運用上節課的詞匯進行pair work的練習。
能在教師指導下完成read and write.
教學建議
一.warm up
聽唱歌曲：my new teacher
反饋第二課時的口頭作業。將pair work 提前，鞏固本單元新句型。what’s he/she like?和part a 所學形容詞young, funny/ heavy/ kind/ old/ short.thin以及職業名詞：如english teacher.
二.presentation and practice
1.教學principal, strict, university student.
展示校務會議時場景，認識出席會議的各種老師，運用pair work 形式引出新單詞。
2.教學smart actice .
用university的照片引出smart., active
3.游戲鞏固單詞。
