教學(xué)目標(biāo)：
1、教授u.s要求學(xué)生根據(jù)地圖來(lái)了解美國(guó)在地圖上的位置以及關(guān)于美國(guó)的相關(guān)常識(shí)。
2、可以讀、寫、說(shuō)出并且 懂“u.s”know 可以說(shuō)出并且口上懂，do you know ? yes i know. no i don’t know
3、激發(fā)學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)的持久興趣，培養(yǎng)運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言進(jìn)行交際的能力，鼓勵(lì)同學(xué)們自己合作并能互幫互助。
教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)：
能用自己的話向其他人簡(jiǎn)單介紹美國(guó)這個(gè)國(guó)家。

復(fù)習(xí)（一）出示世界地圖指著中國(guó)問(wèn)：

(二)指著加拿大地圖問(wèn)：
what’s this ?

新授：

指著地圖：this is the map of the u.s. we can also call it the united states. the “u.s”is short for the united states
