大面積的對目標語言進行練習，在練習過程中老師應給予一定的幫助。適當的幫助學生分配角色。但一定要把主動權交到學生手中。在學生練習后進行表演。這樣的活動可擴大練習面，既鍛煉了聽力，也鍛煉了口頭表達能力。同時也給那些程度弱的學生一個表現的機會。在選擇內容時，應遵循由易到難的原則，同時又有知識的拓展與延伸。
培養學生的自學能力，給學生適當的任務，讓他們獨立完成。既可以培養學生的獨立思考能力，又能讓學生對文章有充分的了解，為后面的閱讀做準備。
鞏固所學知識，學以致用。
培養學生的合作精神，對已學知識進行進一步鞏固。
