教學(xué)目標(biāo)：
描述過去，學(xué)習(xí)各種時期的交通工具。
知識和能力目標(biāo)：
1. introduce the concept of situation that started in the past and are continuing in the present.
2. introduce the grammatical concept of the present perfect tense by focusing on timeline and ordering information ,
過程和體驗：
what did eddie do?
how has eddie changed ？
how has hobo changed?
how is the transport in the past in hong kong？
use the timeline to describe the transport in the past.
情感、態(tài)度和價值觀：
1、to develop students to look at the same thing in many ways.（培養(yǎng)學(xué)生同一事物不同看法。）
2、to develop students' ability to classify what they have learned.（培養(yǎng)對所學(xué)知識分類能力。）

1、 詞匯
past 過去；往事 present 現(xiàn)在
light rail 輕軌 ferry 渡船

2、 句型：
have you seen my food？
i’ve just eaten it.

課時安排：1課時
教學(xué)過程設(shè)計：
step 1. warm-up
give students enough time to make sense of the comic strip.
hobo found no food.——eddie has eaten it .-------- hobo was angry.-------- eddie was angry ,too.
step 2. questions about pictures.
what did eddie do?
why did he do so?
how has eddie changed ？
how has hobo changed?
then check the answers to these questions。
step 3. listen and repeat
listen to the talk between hobo and eddie , then ask students to listen and repeat .finally ask the students to act it.
step 4.welcome to the unit
1. revise as many words as possible about transport.
2. read the context of part a and expand to create interest. link it to personal experiences and talk about the usefulness, convenience and efficiency of different modes of travel.
