教學(xué)過程設(shè)計:
1. review the use of the simple past tense. ask students for some sample sentences.
2. tell students that the simple past tense is used when we talk about events that happened at a definite time in the past and are now finished or no longer true.
3. explain that we want to talk about the present and the past , e.g. to talk about actions or situations that started in the past and are continuing into present or still have some connections with the present perfect tense .
4. write two sentences on the board , one using the simple past tense and one using the present perfect tense.
she lived in nanjing in 1995.
she has lived in nanjing since 1995.
5. explain to students that the present perfect tense can also be used in sentences without the adverbs which determine its definite use.
6. work through a few more example sentences illustrating the difference between the past tense and the present perfect tense, e,g,
i saw a film last night.( we know it was at a specific time in the past.)
i have seen many films .( we know that it was in the past , but the time not specified.0
7. explain the sentences in the table at the bottom of page 9 and work through a few example sentences.
8. write a list of about 5—10 familiar verbs on the board , using three columns to illustrate the infinitive , simple past and past participle forms, e.g.
