一、 教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1、四會掌握主要句型:how heavy are you? i′ m 48 kg.
i′ m thinner than you, and shorter.
2、能聽懂并完成let′ s try部分的練習(xí).
3、初步了解重量、長度單位的英語表達(dá)形式并能在實際生活中運(yùn)用。
4、學(xué)中用,用中學(xué),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生養(yǎng)成運(yùn)用英語解決問題的好習(xí)慣。
二、 教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)分析
1、本課的重點(diǎn)是學(xué)會正確詢問體重并根據(jù)回答作出討論,涉及的句型是:
how heavy are you ?i‘m _____ kg. i′ m thinner than you ,and shorter.
2、難點(diǎn):根據(jù)實際情況靈活運(yùn)用how tall/long/heavy… are you ?能正確運(yùn)用長度和重量單位。
三、教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備
1、課前準(zhǔn)備錄音機(jī)磁帶。
2、教師準(zhǔn)備本課時所需的表格。
3、自制教學(xué)要學(xué)的圖片(多媒體課件)。
四、教學(xué)過程
step1. warm up
1、free talk : hi, how are you ? how old are you ? how long is your desk?
how tall are you ?…(目的在于復(fù)習(xí)句型how tall are you?及其回答方式i′ m 164cm tall. 同時教師在此環(huán)節(jié)中及時做出或引導(dǎo)學(xué)生做出評論:he is taller than her.)
step2. preview
let′ s try .(學(xué)生完成聽錄音選擇練習(xí))
step3. presentation.
1、教師運(yùn)用圖片的形式,出示本課時主要動畫人物:猴王和八戒
t:class,today we have two new friends,monkey king and ba jie,listen,what are they talking?
(多媒體演示以下對話:)
m:nice to meet you again , ba jie .but i think ,you are heavier than before.
b:no, i′ m not heavier. i′ m stronger. i′ m stronger than you. so i′ m cooler than you.
(課件同時出現(xiàn)四會句型: i ′m stronger. i′ m stronger than you.)
2、教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生討論:which one is cooler? why ?
通過討論,使學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)鞏固以下句型:
monkey king is cooler. he is taller than ba jie.
3、繼續(xù)通過圖片讓學(xué)生模擬去說:
m:ha ha, i′ m cooler than you. how heavy are you?
b:i′ m 100 kg. how heavy are you?
m:i′ m 50 kg.
使學(xué)生初步感知新句型: how heavy are you?
及回答方式: i′ m ____kg.
4、教師板書四會句型: how heavy are you? i′ m ____kg.
領(lǐng)讀, 學(xué)生分層跟讀。
5、drill:(學(xué)生以排、行等不同的組織形式分層操練)

6、學(xué)生聽對話錄音跟讀.

1、通過板書拓展句型:how big are your feet ?
