程 step 1 warm-up:act out the story in part c.sing a song. “ my pets”.step 2 preview:let’s try.listen to the tape. fill in the blankets and choose the right pictures.step 3 presentation: ’s talk.1.      teacher tells the students: “ i’m a little heavier than before. how heavy am i? guess.” the students can use the patterns: “are you 40/ 45 kg?” make a dialogue with the student who gets the right answer.t: how heavy are you?s: i’m 30 kg.t: you’re thinner than me, and shorter.write down the dialogue and read.this time let the students ask:s: how heavy are you?t: i’m 45 kg.s: i’m thinner than you, and shorter.  you’re heavier than me, and taller.2.      point to the shoes, saying: “i wear size 23. how big are your feet?” help the students to answer: “ i wear size 17.” write down the sentences.3.      play the tape and read in groups.4.      make new dialogues.step 4 consolidation and extension:1.      good to know.2.      do exercises in activity book.3.      write the useful sentences.
