1.a song: a b c song(利用兒時玩的并扳游戲來唱這首歌:a b c d e f g ,h i j k l m n ,o p q ,r s t, u v w ,x y z,x y z ,now you see ,i can sing my a b c.)
2.a chant:(學生剛剛接觸英語,把權力下放給學生,讓他們自編兒歌,目的是為了鞏固所學的單詞:男孩boy,女孩girl,teacher教我讀book,book放在desk上,我們坐在chair上,我們都在school里,one two three four five。)
(設計意圖:歌曲和學生自編的chant,在課的開始就引起他們的注意力,激發起潛在的幽默情趣,活躍氣氛,營造良好的兒童學英語的氛圍。調動學生的學習熱情。)

step 2: new concepts:

1) a guessing game:
(點擊或畫出鋼筆的一部分,學生可任意聯想回答,,然后再點擊出示或畫出鋼筆的全圖)
t: what is it? you know?
ss: …… (學生發揮想象力,隨意猜測。)
t: oh , no(yes) .it is a pen. do you have a pen?(教師手拿一支鋼筆,給孩子們一種提示。)
ss: yes.
t: please show me. read after me: pen
ss: …… (read and recite this word.)

ss: ……(檢查單詞的掌握程度,背得好的給與鼓勵)
t:look carefully, guess, what is it? (出示鉛筆的一部分,讓其猜想。)

ss:在pen的后面加cil。
t: good. who can read? please put up your hands.
ss: …… (學生朗讀單詞)

(使用此方法,可依次出示pencil case; marker; blackboard。)
(設計意圖:利用猜謎游戲,由部分到整體,由虛而實,趣味聯想,引出新詞:pen、 pencil 、marker、 pencil case、blackboard; 詞畫結合,音形結合吸引學生注意力,讓學生留下深刻印象,充分體現了探究式學習方法)

2)依次點擊課件出示或出示掛圖或實物:pencils、 pens、 markers 、pencil cases 、chairs。
t: practice in pairs.

3)出示多媒體課件或li ming and jenny 的手偶:
t: guess: what are they speaking?

4)出示錄音。
