學習目標：
1、聽、說、讀、寫四會單詞：
trumpet ring doorbell loudly
2、能聽懂、會說功能句：
a、daming is having a birthday party.
b、daming is playing the trumpet, but the phone is ringing.
3、能運用功能句談論正在做一件事情時另一件事情同時發生。
4、在游戲和活動中培養學生運用英語的能力，提高學生的口語水平，并對應于產生濃厚的興趣。
教學重點：1、daming is having a birthday party.
2、daming is playing the trumpet, but the phone is ringing.
教學難點：運用功能句談論正在做一件事情時另一件事同時發生。
教學用具：錄音機、圖片、單詞卡片
教學過程: 一、warming up
1、 老師熱情地和學生打招呼，并請值日生用上模塊學習的內容做當天的值日報告，向全班學生講述一件有趣的事情，然后隨意請幾名學生起立講一講發生在他身上的有趣的事情。
2、 重復第四模塊的詩歌兩至三遍，鼓勵學生一邊說一邊模仿動作。
二、new teaching
1、情景導入，讓學生在感悟中自主學習，復習現在進行時，老師提供一個單詞，全班一起逐步把這個單詞擴展為一個現在進行時的句子，如：picnica picnichave a picnic.老師帶領學生演練幾個這樣的句子。之后，讓學生自己從單詞卡片中選取單詞來進行類似的句型練習。如：violin i'm playing the violin.老師幫助、指導學生說一個句子：party birthday party daming is having a birthday party.引出課題和課文大意。
2、課文教學
a、正式學習課文以前，老師向學生提出問題; who is the birthday party for? what is daming doing? what is simon playing? who is coming in the door? who is singing? who is laughing?
b、將自制的課文掛圖貼在黑板上，播放錄音，學生聽完以后，請學生嘗試回答前面提出的問題。
c、學生打開書，老師再次播放錄音，學生邊聽邊看書，同時用筆勾畫出課文中的生詞，并猜詞義。針對某個詞老師做講解或讓學習較好的學生提供講解。
d、老師請學生看活動1的第一幅圖畫，請一位學生描述daming正在做什么，另一位學生描述這時又發生了什么事情，請第三位學生將前面兩位學生說的話連成一個句子。提醒學生中間要用but來連接，強化學生對 but的理解，再讓學生描述后兩幅圖畫。
