3、教學手段
根據本節課的教學內容特點，建議采用多媒體教學手段。把各種動物的形象特征更加直觀、具體、生動地演示出來，同時也有利于激發學生學習英語的熱情，激活課堂氣氛，增大課堂容量，把更多的時間交給學生主宰，從而提高教學效率和質量。
四、說過程
step1: warming-ups:
1. greetings.
2. let’s d book1/unit4/a.let’s do.(p41)
3. chant: （看圖片說book1/p45的chant ，然后通過問答在該chant中解決形容詞fat, big, small, funny的認讀, 教師通過夸張的動作it’s so big. 引出句型“it’s so….”并讓學生理解so的意思，然后重心編輯chant操練“it’s so….”句型,如:look at the cat, it’s so big.)
step 2: presentations and drills:
創設情景,引出話題
呈現動物園里動物聯歡活動的圖片，然后帶領學生參加各活動。
activity 1: guessing game (presentations and drills for“tail，long, short” )根據教師呈現的動物的眼睛,鼻子等身體部位,猜猜教師最喜歡的動物是什么
1)呈現大象的耳朵/眼睛,操練句型look at the ear! it’s so big….
2) 呈現大象的尾巴，引出單詞tail, short,并讓學生在句子“look at the tail. it’s so short. ”中操練單詞tail, short)
3)呈現大象的鼻子,引出單詞long,并讓學生在句子“look at the nose. it’s so long. ”中操練單詞 long.
4)呈現大象的圖片,引出 it’s so funny!
activity 2: act your favourite animals. (practices for what learned)
讓學生戴上自己喜歡的動物頭飾,邊表演邊運用已教學內容介紹說i have…，教師隨機地描述look at the eye, it’s so small.等句型.
activity 3: what can you see? (presentations and drills for“it has….”)
游覽動物園,描述看見的動物
1)教師邊說i can see a panda, it has big and black eyes ... 邊做動作，引出教學內容.
2)讓學生通過描述自己看見的動物來操練it has…句型。
