( 本環節利用指南針上的“e s w n” 四個字母來幫學生形象直觀的理解“東南西北”四個方位詞,并在單詞的操練中運用“上下左右”拍手分別來表示“北南西東”四個方位,還利用說開頭一個字母來讓學生辨別是哪個方位詞,通過多種操練使學生掌握四個方位詞,并利用黑板上的美國地圖,通過問: where is los angeles/new york?將句型it’s in the …of america.直觀地展示給學生,并幫助學生理解抽象的地理位置。值得注意的是:it’s in the east of america.一句中“the”的發音老師可用一個提示性的手勢來幫助學生記憶。)
