教學設計 :
一、free talk .
1.greetings .
2.on duty .
值日生利用學過語言知識進行交際操練，練說要盡量廣。
3.review .利用圖片和may i have 復習3a中學過的動物單詞，并把其放入新授單詞，在復習中學習新知。
二、presentation and practice .
1.learn the new words : a cat ,a tiger ,a koala ,a lion ,a rabbit .
(1)出示卡片引出上面四個單詞，逐一誦讀，并對a cat ,a tiger進行拼寫指導。
(2)用this is …/that’s … 練說。
教師將動物玩具放于教室中的不同位置，靠近的用this is …遠的用that’s …指導學生用this is …/that’s ….進行練說， 鞏固單詞的同時復習this和that .
2.learn the new sentences .
(1)教師可以利用圖片在黑板上布置玩具柜臺,向學生引出對話： what’s this ?/it’s a ... .how lovely .并指導學生進行操練.此處先引導學生用學過的it’s nice/pretty/smart等句子進行贊美，然后再引出句子how lovely .
(2)指名一生到板前，師指著背朝自己的小兔，并扮演老虎發問：
通過師生間對話引出第二組、第三組對話： what’s that ? it’s a rabbit .i see .this is a cat .i think . no ,it isn’t .it’s a tiger .

1.listen to the tape .
師出示背景圖，生看圖聽錄音并自己體會。

四.人一小組練習表演對話。對話表演時不必拘于課本，可根據實際隨意合理組織。
