讓學生自由猜測。 there are ….(課件顯示答案twenty-four classrooms)
(可使用課件出示課文第二幅圖片及短語)。
t: are there any reading rooms in the building?
s: yes. there are two reading rooms.
t: is there a table tennis room?
s: yes, there is.
t: are there any other classrooms?
老師可補充訓練一些詞匯：computer room, art room, music room, infirmary等。
c  consolidation
(5a開始，老師應適當訓練學生對課文的復述) 復述前，有必要把課文重新梳理一遍。
可以問一些問題：
is it the first day of the new term?
are the students happy to see each other again?
is it a new building?
how many classrooms are there in the building?
what rooms are there?
   2.  老師根據課件出示的短語示范復述課文：
 it is the first day of the new term. all the students are back at school. they are happy to see each other again.
 there is a new building in the school. there are twenty-four classrooms in it. there are two reading rooms, a table tennis room, a computer room, a music room and an art room.
   3. 給學生三分鐘左右的時間自己練習，然后復述。復述時，提醒其他同學專心聽，老師隨時叫停，另一個同學必須接下去。兩遍之后，全班一起復述。
   4.朗讀課文。

一 教學內容
   《九年義務教育六年制小學教科書牛津小學英語》5a第一單元第四教時(sing a song, read and act 和 listen and repeat)。
二 教學目標
1 認知目標：
能正確地聽、說、讀、寫詞匯 house, flower
能正確熟練的掌握本單元所學的場所類和一些游樂設施。
字母a發[ei]的單詞歸納總結。
2 功能目標：能正確地描述一個公園。
3 情感目標：在學習的過程中加深學生對美好環境的熱愛和愛護。
三 教學重點
能熟練掌握本單元所學的知識，并能熟練、靈活運用。
四 教學難點
   能自編對話談論一個場所。
五 教學準備
1.e部分的教學圖片。
2.板書。
六 教學過程
a  sing a song
   學唱英文歌曲 two jackets. 在學生聽、學的時候，老師把two jackets, chair, bed 寫在黑板上，學生會唱之后，可以在這三個單詞下寫上另外一到兩組單詞，如：three boxes, desk, over there; four pictures, blackboard, wall, 讓學生替換歌詞唱。
