老師可補充訓練一些詞匯:computer room, art room, music room, infirmary等。

(5a開始,老師應適當訓練學生對課文的復述) 復述前,有必要把課文重新梳理一遍。
可以問一些問題:
is it the first day of the new term?
are the students happy to see each other again?
is it a new building?
how many classrooms are there in the building?
what rooms are there?
2. 老師根據課件出示的短語示范復述課文:
it is the first day of the new term. all the students are back at school. they are happy to see each other again.
there is a new building in the school. there are twenty-four classrooms in it. there are two reading rooms, a table tennis room, a computer room, a music room and an art room.
3. 給學生三分鐘左右的時間自己練習,然后復述。復述時,提醒其他同學專心聽,老師隨時叫停,另一個同學必須接下去。兩遍之后,全班一起復述。
4.朗讀課文。

六 教學過程
a sing a song
學唱英文歌曲 two jackets. 在學生聽、學的時候,老師把two jackets, chair, bed 寫在黑板上,學生會唱之后,可以在這三個單詞下寫上另外一到兩組單詞,如:three boxes, desk, over there; four pictures, blackboard, wall, 讓學生替換歌詞唱。
