s:觀看體育課錄像。
t:教師適時暫停并問“what are they doing?”引導學生答they’re walking. they’re running. they’re jumping. they’re standing. they’re sitting.
t:播放完畢,畫面定格在或坐或站的觀眾身上。what is she doing? she’s standing.
出示單詞卡片教學stand standing
t: what is miss liu doing?
s: you’re standing.
t:同法教學sit sitting(發現雙寫)
what are you doing?
s: we’re sitting.
t: what are you doing?
s1:i’m sitting.
t: what are you doing?
s2:i’m sitting.
t&s: 同法配合體勢語學習另外三個表示動作的單詞“walk walking, run running(發現雙寫), jump jumping”.
t&s: good job! shall we play a game? now follow me, please.(學生跟隨教師一起做動作并進行答問“what are you doing?”“we’re running\ walking\ jumping\sitting\standing.”
t: who wants to try?指名學生來當小老師繼續這個游戲。
(設計意圖:再一次用非常貼近學生學習生活實際的體育課畫面,吸引住了學生的注意力。且在觀看錄象的過程中巧妙地將5個表示動作的單詞呈現出來,結合時態進行進一步操練、鞏固。進一步加深學生對現在進行時態句式的認識。這個環節中頻繁的身體活動也讓學生獲得了“學中樂、樂中學“的美好情感體驗。)
t: we did so many sports, so i’m very tired. i want to go to bed .do you want to go?
s: yes, we’re tired, too.
t: the boy is tired, too. what is he doing?
8.課件出示夜晚,一個小男孩睡覺的情景,引出 sleep sleeping的教學。
(設計意圖:教師順著上面一環節剛進行了劇烈運動的實際情況,巧妙設置累了想睡覺的情景,引入了新詞sleep sleeping,he’s sleeping.的教學,銜接自然流暢.)

t&s:教師示范邊說邊做動作。學生跟隨教師做動作并練習說。
(設計意圖:運用現在進行時態將所學的六個表示動作的單詞編串成一段瑯瑯上口的小詩,學生邊說邊做,感受學習的成功與快樂。隨著那最后一詞“jumping”,學生高高躍起,將整個課堂教學推向高潮。)

1.課件出示:look and guess
(屏幕上出示本節課所學單詞的首字母s、w、r、j)
s:根據首字母猜測“what is the boy doing?(課件鏈接揭示答案,比誰最幸運)
t:ok! let’s do some exercises again.
2.課件出示:練習題(課堂情景再現)
