step 1 revision
1. review the words and some phrases.
2. talk about four inventions we have learned.
step 2 lead in
show a picture of robot and talk about it.

step 3 listening
1. listen to 2 and number the pictures. check the answer.
2. listen to 1a and answer the questions.

step 4 writing
1. show the structure of the introduction of an invention. talk about the advantages and disadvantages of robots in 1a in page 85 and 3 in page

3.if possible, what kind of robots do want to invent, the ones that are our servants, the ones that are our friends or the ones that our masters ? why?
4. discuss the ending.( after talking about the questions, they may think of the ending more easily.)

sum up the structure of an invention we have learned in this period and encourage ss to think of more ways to describe an invention. in this way, we can make ss in different levels more creative in writing.
