10. as well as 的用法
as well as 是并列連詞，意為“不僅……而且……；既
……又……”。
the girl is lively as well as healthy.
這個女孩既活潑又健康。
i read german as well as french.
我不僅讀法語，而且讀德語。
i have heard from comrade wang as well as from
comrade li.
我不但接到了李同志的信，而且接到了王同志的信。
a as well as b 的意思是“不但b，而且a”，其重點在
前者，而不在后者，而not only a but also b則強調后
者，意為“不但a，而且b”。
she is clever as well as beautiful.

她不僅漂亮而且聰明。
as well as連接兩個并列成分作主語時，句子的謂語
動詞應與前面那個名詞或代詞的人稱和數保持一
致。
your brother as well as you is very kind to me.

as well as連接兩個動詞不定式時，如果第一個帶to，
第二個就不帶to。
we expect her to do the housework as well as look after

比較 as well 的用法
1) as well 表示“也”的意思，常放在句末，與too的位
置相同。
he speaks english as well.
他也說英語。
2) as well 和 and 連用，放在句末，表示“也；既……又
……”的意思。
he is a professor, and a writer as well.
他是教授，也是作家。
3) as well表示“也好；不妨”的意思，放在主要動詞
之前，前面常用may, just等。
you may as well go.
你去也好。
as well 表示“也好；也行”的意思，放于may be和動
詞不定式之間。

as well 可與 but 連用。
