▲句型：
① there be an improvement in... 在某方面有進步/好
轉

【考點1】likely的用法
▲句型：
① be likely to do sth 可能
② it's likely that / (for sb) to do sth... 可能
▲辨析：likely；maybe; perhaps；possibly；probably
該組副詞都可表示“可能地”。但美國人多用maybe，英
國人多用perhaps，表示“也許”，多用于口語。probably
意為“很可能地、大概地”，等于likely。但likely比
probably語氣強，而且likely還可以作形容詞，用于be
likely to do和be likely that clause句型中，而probably
則不行。possibly等于perhaps。例如：
it's quite likely that a decision wilt be made before the
end of the year. 很可能在年底前作出決定。
maybe it was useful for some people. 也許那對一些人
有益。
perhaps we'll pay a visit to nanjing next week. 下周我
們可能去南京參觀。
he will possibly agree with what i said. 他可能會同意
我的觀點。
you can't possibly walk 20 miles in an hour. 你一小時
無論如何也走不了20英里。
they are probably at home now. 們現在很可能在家。
