step 2 presentation  (warm up)
as we know a robot is a machine that is used to do work instead of people, especially some dangerous work. they can do a lot of things. so some people want to have them at home so that they can have more spare time to enjoy themselves. for example, they can have more time to do sports or watch tv. do you want to have one? so does mr. jiang. mr. jiang bought one. now let’s see what change the robot brought him. please read the text and try to answer the following questions.
1. what does mr. jiang do?        
2. why does he want to have one robot?
3. what does he have the robot do?  
4. was he satisfied with what the robot did?
