1 看a部分投影片，師生問答，討論會話。
2 讓學生試著復述a部分第一段。
3 復習句型heis not as strong as tom .
4 學生小組內表演會話。
5 投影副詞以及比較級，學生起升降調朗讀。
d presentation and drill新授和操練
1 教師出示c部分的圖片創設情景引出句型的操練：
t：look .the boys jump higher. the girls jump lower .
t: do the boys jump higher than the girls?
ss: yes ,they do.
這時學生就很容易回答了。用同樣的方法操練其他的副詞。（low lower, slow slower, late later,
early, earlier, , well better）
2 教師繼續創設情景讓2個學生比賽引出句型第三人稱單數
t：does jim swim faster than david ?.
教師運用同樣的方法引出其他單詞進行操練 （far farther,......）
3. 教師和學生操練2組后，讓學生模仿自己練習。
4 教師先讓掌握比較好的學生做示范。然后同桌問答
5 教師板書句型四會句型，由學生集體朗讀。
6 talk in pairs then ask and answer.
e practice and consolidation練習和鞏固
1 出示c部分的投影片，看圖1，師生會話。
do the boys jump higher than the girls? yes ,they do.
does jim swim slower than david? no, he doesn't.
2 根據實際情況學生分組討論，后分小組匯報。
3 自己創設情景運用句型表演。

看c部分圖片，仿造今天所學句型編寫會話，各編寫兩段。
