(2) kitchen的發音于chicken經常搞混,容易發錯。
(3) 讀書本book的單復數形式經常會搞錯。
(4) 學生基本上能把let's do部分于單詞圖片相配對。

(1) game:看動作猜圖片
教師給一個學生看一張圖片或照片,然后該學生通過做一系列可能在這房間發生的動作,讓全班學生猜她或他看到的是什么房間的圖片或照片。如:kitchen圖片,該學生可以做燒煩、切菜等一系列動作。
(2) 教師在黑板上展示一張kitchen的圖片,在圖片中畫上一些動物、水果,問學生:where's the…?學生回答:it's in the kitchen.
(3) 變換不同的圖片,學生之間操練對話:where's the…? it's in the kitchen/living room…

(1) game:看誰記性好
教師把黑板上的圖片都收起來,然后問學生:where is the cat? 讓學生憑記憶回答物品在哪個房間,教師用句型:is it in the study/…?進行提示。如果學生回答錯了,教師說:no, it isn't.如果學生回答對了,教師說:yes, it is.
(2) game:心有靈犀
把全班學生分成兩大組,每組分別派出兩名學生,一名學生面對教師,另一名學生背對教師。教師持圖問:where is the…?背對教師的學生猜is it in the living room/…?面對教師的學生判斷no, it isn't/ yes, it is. 在規定的時間那猜對多的小組為勝利。
(3)請學生打開學生用書第47頁,聽錄音學習a部分let's talk的內容。
(4)學生拿出自己設計的房間圖進行交流,問:is it a living room/…?
good to know
(1)給學生講講美國住宅結構的文化背景知識。
(2)教學生認讀并了解一些名稱garden, basement, porch, attic等。
