一、復習
1、 this is north ,north point up ; this is south, south points down
2、 通過游戲“simon says”來練習north, south, east, west和map。
3、 利用以下短語：simon says: “point，north / south / east / west to a map.”
4、歌曲導入。播放“中華人民共和國國歌”導入新內容。
（用孩子們熟悉的國歌，直奔主題，非常自然的引出今天的內容”china”,同時激發學生的愛國主義熱情。）
二、 新授
1、情景教學：設置了一個外國人來到中國，向中國的小朋友了解中人物角色：一位外國人，若干名中國小學生。學具準備：需要一張中國地圖、相關圖片要求：角色表演要以這些基本話題展開：介紹國家國旗、語言、首都、名勝
語言表達精煉，流暢，有良好的語音語調，把握角色要到位，表演的形象、準確。
三、 拓展與運用
將今天學習的中國的信息歸類：
如：國家名稱：china
國旗 ：it is red ,it has yellow stars.
語言：chinese
地理位置：the u.s is east of china .
名勝古跡：the palace mueseum , tian’anmen square.
