(1)present the words: kind, strict, principal
t: hello, boys and girls, this is my grandma, my grandma is old, but she is very kind.

what about your grandma?
ss: my grandma is…
t: who is not kind in your family?
s1: my…is not kind.
t: yes, he/she is not kind. he/she is strict.
show the picture of our principal, and ask “who is he?” “he is our principal.”

eg: show the pictures of lu xun and zhou enlai.(可適當的滲透一般疑問句，讓學生來描述人物特點)

t: yes, he is a german. and he is famous for the theory of relativity(相對論). what’s he like?

(出示小燕子和紫薇的照片)

t: what’s xiao yanzi/zi wei like?
ss:… ----active, quiet
t: xiao yanzi is active, but zi wei is quiet.( 要求學生模仿描述句子，可選用班級里的同學等)
2.show the word cards and read them, then lean the sentences
(請一個文靜和兩個活潑的孩子走到講臺前)
t：she is young and quiet, but …is very active. and …, is she active? (板書)
ss: yes, she is/no, she isn’t.
