[辨析]：a) noiseless, silent, quiet, still, calm : silent 主要用于人，指
“沉默的”、“不出聲的”， 但不一定無活動。quiet指“安靜的”、
“寧靜的”， 強調“安靜”， 沒有干擾活動。 still指“不動的”、
“寂靜的”， 強調“靜止 的狀態”，只限用于 物理上的安靜，不用于
心理上的安靜。 calm指“鎮靜的”、“平靜的”，主要批人“沉著鎮
定”，指自然“無風無浪”。 noiseless指“聲音很輕的”、“無聲的”，
常用來形容機器。
b) noise, sound, voice: 三者都有“聲音”的意思。noise指“噪音”、
“吵鬧聲”， 通常指高聲吵鬧。 voice指“嗓音”， 指人說話或唱歌
的聲音。 sound指人能聽到的任何聲音。

不與of短語連用。none可以與of連用，也可不用；后接名詞可以是單數， 也
可以為復數；作主語時， 謂語動詞可用單數或復數，在側重表示“所有
的......都不”時，多用復數，表示“其中一個也不時”, 用單數形
式。在回答how many提問時,否定回答用none;在回答 who提問時,否定
回答用 no one.
