教學難點： 重點句型中問句的表達。
教學過程：
i.warm up
1.教師放c部分歌曲my family的錄音， 學生跟唱。
2.全班學生分成幾列站好，教師從本單元a let learn 部分的卡片中隨意抽取一張，每隊的第一名學生讀出卡片的單詞并做出簡單的陳述。
ii.presentation
1.學生兩人一組將a let learn部分的單詞卡片和四年級上冊b let learn部分的單詞一起放在桌上，讓學生說單詞。
2.教師說：my mother is a teacher. what does your mother do? 請幾名學生用she is a profession來回答。教師繼續說：my father is a farmer. what does your father do? 引導學生作答。教師板書并示范朗讀句型：what does your mother do? she is a tv reporter. 學生跟讀，口拼句型。
3.教師放課文錄音，學生跟讀。學生兩面人一組做對話練習。
4.學生兩人使用一套職業卡片和家庭成員卡片。學生交換角色玩游戲。
5.教師向學生展示該部分的掛圖，示范朗讀音標：/u/,/u:/和輔音/w/, /j/,/h/，學生跟讀。
6.教師引導學生通過拼讀音標，嘗試讀出表格中的例詞。

1.職業單詞的記憶。
2.句型的運用。

1.抄寫單詞。
2.背誦對話。

第三課時
教學內容：教材p。let read
教學目標：
1.能夠聽，說，認讀let read部分的對話，完成相應的活動。
2.能夠運用所學的語言完成let find out活動。
教學重點： 鞏固句型：what does ..do? he/she is a/an….
教學難點： 理解，認讀句型how exciting和how does she go to hong kong? she goes to hong kong by plane. 其中，第二個句型是為b部分內容的鋪墊。
教學過程：
i.warm up
1.復習a let learn部分的職業詞匯和pronunciation部分的例詞及含有該部分音標的詞匯。
2.教師出示有關職業和家庭成員的單詞卡片，請學生做表演。
ii.presentation
1.教師發給每名學生一張紙條，讓學生在條上寫自己的名字，外貌特征和將來想從事的職業，讓學生進行比賽。教師帶出句型：how exciting! the game is exciting. how exciting! 學生跟讀。
2.教師從剛才游戲中使用的卡片提問：what is he/she? 請學生猜填寫的學生是誰。
3.教師課前備一個朋友的照片或簡筆畫，把該人物的相關信息分別寫在照片后面，然后向學生介紹：this is my friend. 教師鼓勵學生提問：what does he /she like? what does she /he do? where does she /he work? how does she/he go to work? she /he works in …. she goes to work by… 教師回答：
4.學生分小組或同桌之間進行問答練習：what does your father do? where does he work? how does he go to work? he/she works in a place. he goes to work by(means of transportation)
5.教師說：wu yifan has an aunt and an uncle. do you know anything about them? ，學生回答。教師說：ok, now open your books and read the dialogue.
6.教師向學生展示alet read部分的掛圖，指著照片上的兩個人物問：what does she /he do?
7.教師放本部分錄音，學生打開學生用書閱讀短文，然后教師解答難點。
