設計說明:本部分的一個難點是比較級的用法,短文中涉及到的有cooler和higher。比較級是六年級下冊中的一個教學重點,因此教師可以在這里進行適當的講解,為下一冊的教學做鋪墊。3 回到故事。剛才牛頓坐在樹下是在看孩子們放風箏或爬山嗎?我們繼續: suddenly something is falling down.what is falling down? s2: maybe the leaves are falling down. t: look! an apple is falling down . ss: an apple is falling down. t: yes! who is the man ? do you know? ss: he is newton. t: great !設計說明:在閱讀這么長的一篇英語文章之前,幫助學生掃清部分障礙性詞匯是很有必要的。我創設了一些情境,通過肢體語言讓學生感知和理解詞匯的含義。在這里我引用了一個學生比較熟悉的科普故事,通過課件等形式將文中的部分詞匯給予呈現和操練。學生已有的知識和經驗被很好地利用教學。 b.pre-reading t: here is another story----the story of rain .do you know “where does the rain come from? ”ss: it come from the cloud.t: then where does the cloud come from?ss: it comes from the vapour.t: how can the water become vapour?ss: the sun shines and the water becomes vapour.t: so the sun helps the water to become the rain.right? then what else helps the water to become the rain? 設計說明:本課雖然是以故事的形式呈現,但涉及的是科普知識。因此在閱讀之前還得幫助學生做好語言和知識的準備。這里通過問答的方式來調動學生在這一方面的語言和知識的儲備,為下一步的閱讀和理解故事做好鋪墊。 c while-reading (.p72let's read)(1 )課件出示謎語引出“little water drop”,從而導入新課i’m not a plane. i’m not a bird. but i can walk and fly in the sky.full of water, yet not the sea or a river. what am i? 小水滴(little water drop) (2)教師戴上小水滴的頭飾,說:“hello.i am little water drop.nice to meet you 教師與幾名學生打招呼,引導學生用“hello,little water drop.”應答。然后教師請一名學上臺,讓他閉上眼睛,給他戴上風先生的頭飾,讓他睜開眼睛,教師對他說:“hello.mr wind.”然后,請該學生走到同學中間,讓其他學生用“hello.mr wind.”同他打招呼。(3)教師用雙手擦額頭上的汗,做出很熱的表情說:“little water drop is very hot.”然后教師展開本部分的掛圖,分別指著小水滴和風先生問:“who is he?”引導學生回答。教師說:“little water drop takes a trip.where does he go? how is his trip? let's read.”(4)get the ss to read the story and find out “who helps the water drop become the rain ? does he have a lot of fun?” and also put up some questions about the passage.學生打開學生用書帶著問題閱讀短劇。教師解答學生的問題。
