① 示范 告訴學生man woman用于說明成年人boy girl 用于小孩beautiful意為“美麗、漂亮、優美 ” handsome意為“漂亮、俊俏、瀟灑” pretty意為“漂亮、可愛 ”.讓學生跟老師重復讀幾遍這些詞,然后展示這些詞應怎樣搭配
如: handsome man. he is handsome.
beautiful woman she is beautiful.
pretty girl. she is pretty.
② 播放課文錄音no.2讓學生看書跟讀.
③ 教唱歌曲“the pretty little girl”
讓學生仔細觀察樹上小女孩的幾幅圖片，要求學生說出他們再圖片看到的那些東西的名稱(tree 、grass、girl、arms等)
讓學生跟老師逐句學唱,最后學生一齊跟錄音唱
