第一課時
教學內容：
a read and say  前三幅圖及b部分中的五個單詞a cat ,a tiger ,a koala ,a lion, a rabbit .
教學目標：
1.單詞a koala .a lion, a rabbit要達到三會要求。 a cat ,a tiger要達到四會要求。
2.能夠正確運用對話中所出現的日常交際用語，并能夠對what’s this ? what’s that ?it’s a … this is … that’s …..，幾個句型達到四會要求。
教學過程：
一、free talk .
1.greetings .
t: good morning/ afternoon .boys and girls .
ss: good morning / afternoon .mrs /mr …
2.on duty .
    值日生利用學過語言知識進行交際操練，練說要盡量廣。
3.review .利用圖片，指名說出，引起學生思考。
通過游戲“touch and guess ”復習3a中學過的動物單詞，并把其放入新授單詞，在復習中學習新知。
二、presentation and practice .
1.learn the new words : a cat ,a tiger ,a koala ,a lion ,a rabbit .
1出示卡片 touch and guess引出上面四個單詞，逐一誦讀，并對a cat ,a tiger進行拼寫指導。
2用this is …/that’s … 練說。
教師將動物玩具放于教室中的不同位置，*近的用this is …遠的用that’s …指導學生用this is …/that’s ….進行練說， 鞏固單詞的同時復習this和that .
2.       learn the new sentences .
1師利用玩具在講臺前布置一個玩具柜臺，師用拇指指著頭飾，向學生引出對話： what’s this ?/it’s a koala .how lovely .并指導學生進行操練。（注：教師也可以利用圖片在黑板上布置玩具柜臺）。  此處先引導學生用學過的it’s nice/pretty/smart等句子進行贊美，然后再引出句子how lovely .
2指名一生到板前，師指著背朝自己的小兔，并扮演老虎發問：
通過師生間對話引出第二組、第三組對話： what’s that ? it’s a rabbit .i see .this is a cat .i think . no ,it isn’t .it’s a tiger .
