培養(yǎng)學生的綜合語言運用能力,必須為學生提供語言實踐活動的空間。只有在交際性的活動中,才能使學生主動運用拓展所學的內(nèi)容,提高用英語交際的能力。表演活動是一種行之有效的語言實踐活動,本課故事內(nèi)容單調(diào)枯燥,用復(fù)述故事的形式會顯得呆板,沒有趣味,受內(nèi)容的局限,戴上頭飾表演也有困難。我就讓學生自己制作好puppets, 在小組中用木偶劇的形式表演,鼓勵學生加入人物的對話并且可以續(xù)編,學生在表演活動中主動參與,創(chuàng)造性地運用語言,使故事情節(jié)更完整,內(nèi)容更具體,語言更豐富,學生在語言實踐中體驗成功的快樂。這樣的活動不僅培養(yǎng)了學生的合作創(chuàng)新精神,也培養(yǎng)了學生主動應(yīng)用拓展的能力,提高交際的能力,達到“學以致用”的目的。
