預習提綱
讓學生分角色進行對話，把自己的實際年齡和生日，運用課文中的句型進行練習，最后匯報表演。
warm-up
1、播放歌謠what’s your birthday?請學生說出唱歌的孩子是幾月份的生日。然后跟著旋律唱。
2、教師出示標有12個月份的大轉盤，在轉動指針前提問：which season is it? 學生猜測：it’s may/ june…
一、導入新課
1、教師詢問一名學生：when is your birthday? 當學生回答完成后問另一名學生：is your birthday in …?幫助回答：yes, it is.或no, it isn’t.
2、教師讓一學生到講臺前，面對黑板。用is your birthday in …? 句型猜站著的同學的生日，站著的同學用yes, it is.或no, it isn’t.回答，判斷對錯。
3、教師出示mike, amy, zhang peng的頭飾，提問：when is mike’s birthday? what about amy? what about zhang peng?播放let’s talk錄音，回答以上問題。
4、學生分角色進行朗讀。三人一組練習該對話，并將自己的同伴的實際姓名和生日替換對話中的相應部分，最后匯報表演。
二、 操練
1、給學生一點時間，把let’s find out部分的月份和節日連線，然后進行檢查。讓學生分成小組，利用句型where is...? it is in...的句型進行操練。
2、教師播放錄音，讓學生在括號里填上相應的月份，再播放一遍，核對答案。
三、鞏固與延伸
1、完成相對應的配套練習。
2、收集國外節日的有關資料。
課 題 unit 3 my birthday（第三課時）
教學目標 1、能夠聽、說、讀、寫句子：when is your birthday? it’s in may. my birthday is in june. uncle bill’s birthday is in june, too.
2、能夠聽懂、會說read and write部分的對話并完成表格。
3、能夠總結祖母組合ear，eer，ch，sh的發音規律，并朗讀例詞。
教學重點 1、能夠認讀read and write部分出現的粗體句子。
2、能夠完成對話下面的表格和問題。
3、把握四會句型：when is your birthday? it’s in…等。
教學難點 能夠正確默寫本課的重點句型：when is your birthday? it’s in may. my birthday is in june. uncle bill’s birthday is in june, too.
教具準備 1、教學過程中所需要的圖片、聲音和課件。
2、錄音機及錄音帶。

教師用自己的家庭照片，引導學生復習家庭成員的名稱。通過表述自己母親的生日，轉而詢問學生when is your mother’s birthday? 幫助學生回答my mother’s birthday is in…
warm-up
1、學生看單詞卡片，認讀12個月份。出示大轉盤，轉動并問學生which month is it?
2、播放錄音，學生跟唱歌曲father and mother。教師出示家庭成員的單詞卡，帶領學生復習家庭成員的稱呼。
一、導入新課
1、教師拿出自己的家庭照片，出示預備好的表格，貼在黑板上，this is a photo of my family. i want to make a birthday chart for my family. 一起拼寫單詞family，讀單詞和短語a family chart for my family。
2、教師拿著家庭照片，指著自己的母親說：she is my mother. her birthday is in september. 教師將mom的照片放在september下面的表格，my mother’s birthday is in september. when is my father’s birthday?繼續填寫表格，然后讓學生根據例子相互詢問填寫表格。
