show students some pictures of new friends and vip and ask them some questions, present the object form in these sentences. write the sentences on the blackboard.
t: this term, we have six new friends, who are they? do you know them? (millie, sandy, simon, kitty, amy, daniel) who has a dog?(millie) does she like it?(yes, she does.)
   look, who? (li yunchun) why do you like her? now , listen to me carefully, among these superstars, who do you like best?(jay chou) why do you like him?

1   revision
help students to revise the subject form of personal pronouns with some sentences.

work through the sample sentences on page 30 and show how each pronoun is related to the subject in the first sentence. write some more sample sentence on the blackboard.

2 the boy is sleeping. please don’t wake him.

3   explanation
explain the difference between the subject form and object form by referring to the table on page 30.
4 practice
ask the students to complete sentence with personal pronouns(object form). to read out a speech ask six students bubble each to check answers.
5 matching
make students to find out the personal pronouns in subject forms and circle the personal pronouns in object form in the dialogue.
6 discuss
ask students to think over when we can use the object form. give them several sentences as a hint. work out the rule:
   we use the object form after a verb or a preposition.
