t: what do you do from monday to friday? do you go to school on saturday and sunday? (after they answer) you’re busy and tired when you study at school. you can have a good rest at the weekend. what do you usually do at the weekend?
合作交流 解讀探究[cooperate and intercourse to unscramble and research]
1 competition
have the students revise the activities that we learned before, divide the students into two groups: boys and girls. ask one girl and one boy to present the others, write the activities that they know on the blackboard. when they need help, they can ask their supporters. at last, total the numbers, one right phrase can get 10 points.
ask students to think about the kinds of the activities: leisure---sports----eating----school. and make students to divide those phrases into different groups.
2 learning
help students to learn the names of some new leisure activities. show some pictures of activities on page 23, ask students to complete the phrases with correct verbs.
3 practicing
show the pictures of activities on the flashcard and get the students to say the names of them, and also we can ask students to come to the front and hold the flashcard to ask the other students about the names of activities.
ask students to use the correct words to complete part b.

5 designing
make boys and girls to have a design about millie’s day with the phrases on the blackboard. the are at least 8 phrases in their designs. make them use these phrases to organize a short passage. choose one from each group and present on the screen. make boys ask five questions about girls’ article and girls answer, then change roles. answer correctly, get 10 point. if the answer is wrong, lose 10 points.
6 discussing
1. ask students to talk about their family’s daily activities with their partners. make a dialogue like:
a: do you often play the piano?
b: yes, i do.
a: does your mother usually cook for you?
