導語ⅱ(lead inⅱ)問題導入
ask students some questions about what they do every day, write down their answers on the blackboard.
t: hello, everyone! what do you often do every day? when do you usually get up? when do you go to school? when do you have lunch?
導語ⅲ(lead in ⅲ)圖片導入
show the pictures of eddie and hobo, ask students to revise something about them in unit1. arouse their interest to learn more about them.
t: in unit1, we met two new friends, they are hobo and eddie. what do you know about them? do you want to know more about them?
 合作交流 解讀探究(cooperate and intercourse to unscramble and research) 
1 learning
help students learn the daily routines and activities. show them the pictures of these activities, help students understand them better. ask students to read and remember them.
2  presentation
ask students to read the table of millie’s day quickly. then work in pairs with the following sentences:
       a: what does millie do at…?
       b: she gets up/ eats breakfast…
then ask students to think how to organize these phrases into a passage. make students revise the simple present tense of the verb ‘to do’.
3   practicing
try to do “t” or “f” questions according to the table.
(1)    mille has assembly at 7:30.
(2)    mille has lessons at 8:25 a.m and 1:30 p.m.
(3)    mille does after-school activities at 3:30 p.m.
(4)    mille goes to bed at 10:00.
2.make up dialogues according to the table.
4  discussing
work in pairs about what they do every day. ask students to write down the neighbours’ activities. ask several able students to do a report about partner’s day.
5  listening 
play the comic strips for the students to listen and imitate with the question:
 what is eddie going to do today?
(after breakfast, he wants to go to sleep. then he has lunch, after lunch , he wants to sleep again.)
6   practice
practice the dialogue and act out the comic strips for fun and for practicing spoken english.
7   competition
divide the students into two groups, ask one group to make some pose and actions, ask the other group to guess what kind of activities they present. to arouse students’ interest, the winner can make a require, and the other group must do it in class.
8  discussing
suppose you’re a reporter from shanghai tv station. there are many famous people in your class, forexample, yang liwei, zhou jielun, yao ming, etc .
