a: enjoy students’ homework.

 ask students to show their homework-pumpkin lanterns. and talk about their lanterns.

 after the students show their lanterns. ask other students to envalue their homework.

who celebrates it ?

people in the west celebrate it.

  2 what do they do for halloween ?

play a game called “trick or treat” ;  2) dress up ;

make pumpkin lanterns;  4) have a special party.

1)how do they play the game ?

knock on people’s door and shout “trick or treat”

get a treat---give them some candies as a treat

play a trick on them

if you play this game, do you wish to get a treat or play a trick ?

2)how do they dress up ?

 wear special costumes with masks / paint faces

why do they dress up ?

because they wish people do not know who they are.

3)how do they make pumpkin lanterns ?

 cut out the eyes, nose and sharp teeth. then put candles in them.

 when does it start :

it starts at 8 pm on the evening of october 31st.

what do they eat and drink ?

they eat some special chocolates and candies. they have hot drinks and nice, hot food.
