(二) presentation
t: now we are going to listen to the tape, please listen carefully and tell me the answer to the following questions  (listen to the first paragraph of part a  twice)

where?
who?
what?
(ss: sports day
ss: maybe in the playground, it isn’t mentioned in the tape
ss: su hai and su yang
ss: they are watching a running race. )
t: very good. now please open your books and turn to page 22. let’s get some further information about what happened. just read the first paragraph.
t: now let’s see what we have on the blackboard. sports day. suhai and su yang, watch the running race
t: can you think of more key words that can make our retell much easier? please discuss in pairs.
（ss discuss and get the following key words:
sports day---- all(excited)-----su hai and su yang(watch)-----su hai( take photos)-----look for camera(su hai)------help ( su yang)）
t: so it must be very easy for you to recite this part. i give you 2 minutes to prepare. and then i will choose some ss to try.
(通過聽錄音，找出where, when , who, what 這四大要素， 來引出課文的學習。 這樣既可以鍛煉學生的聽力，也能很快引出情景，使學生將注意力集中到課文的學習上。然后讓學生歸納這一段的key words，并在這些詞的幫助下試著復述或背誦這一段，鍛煉學生的語言組織能力和口語表達能力)
t: now, let’s look at the dialogue part of the text. and see what happened next. please read it by yourselves. then i will ask you some questions. while you are reading, circle those words, phrases and sentences you don’t understand. (2 minutes)

t: now please show the words, phrase and sentences to your partner and see whether he could help you. (1 minute)
(先讓學生自主學習，找出不理解的難點，加深他們的印象，然后通過group work，讓他們在小組學習中互相幫助，解決以上困難，如還有問題存在，學生會更認真的聽老師接下來的講解，從中找出答案)

t: ok, till now i think everyone has a good understanding of the text, so please finish the t/f exercise on page 23
