五、課前準備
1. 教具準備:照片(或圖片);依照課本制作多媒體課件。
2. 學生準備:學生的生活照片(合影)。
3. 板書準備:預先寫好課題unit 1 who is younger?
六、教學過程
a. free talk
1. 以spring festival為話題,引出師生或學生之間的交談。
2. 在交流過程中,教師引出學生在節日期間的生活照片。
3. 通過照片,引出師生或學生之間的交談,自然復習已學過的單詞,如tall, short, strong, small等。
b. presentation and practice
1. 師生對話,復習鞏固已學單詞。
t: look at the photo. who’s he (she)?
s: he (she) is .
t: is tall?
s: no, is short, and is tall.
(板書:tall, short)
教師那學生的鉛筆(一支長,一支短)
t: which pencil is long? (教師把鉛筆放在一起作比較)
s: the red pencil is long. the green pencil is short.
(板書:long)
教師那學生的書包(一只大,一只小)
t: this is ’s school bag. that’s ’s school bag. they are very nice.
s: ’s bag is big. ’s bag is small.
t: good. you are very clever.
(板書:big, small)
教師讓學生到講臺前,分別拎一下兩只書包。(其中一只書包很重)
s: oh, ’s school bag is very heavy.
(教師打開書包)
t: oh. there are many books in it. so it’s very heavy.
(板書:heavy)

教師利用圖片或實物復習,不斷變換教學方法,新授part b的單詞old, young, tall, long, short, strong, big, small, fat, thin, heavy, 并將這些單詞板書在黑板上。
在教師輔導下,學生朗讀以上單詞并學會拼讀。
2. 師生對話,學習句型who’s taller than ? whose school bag is heavier, yours or mine? 和形容詞的比較級。教師先請一位學生到講臺前(班里長得較高的一位同學)。
t: who’s he (she)?
s: he (she) is .
t: is he (she) tall?
s: yes, he (she) is tall.
教師再請一位同學到講臺前(比剛才一位稍高)。
t: who’s he (she)?
s: he (she) is .
t: is he (she) tall?
s: yes, he (she) is very tall.
t: who’s taller than ?
s: is.
教室可利用照(圖)片及實物,通過師生對話學習older, younger, longer, shorter, stronger, bigger, smaller, fatter, thinner, heavier. 并將這些單詞逐步板書在黑板上。
