4.這是一個幽默故事，故事說明了什么道理，請學生討論。
教學建議
1.教師出示故事掛圖（共六幅），與學生一起看圖談論每幅圖畫，指導學生從整體上了解故事內容，同時感知新語言項目。如：what can you see in the picture? who / what are they? what’s the matter with the man? what does he want to do? what’s it in the man’s hand?what are they doing? is this soup delicious? why? ... 在與學生談論圖畫的過程中，教師要注意引出新的語言項目，幫助學生學習。
2.教師播放錄音，指導學生一邊看掛圖一邊聽錄音，還可引導學生根據錄音指出相應的圖。
3.教師指導學生反復看圖聽錄音，并重復錄音中的對話，同時做相應的動作。
4.學生以組為單位看教材中故事圖并試讀文字，此時教師應給學生以適當的幫助。如果此時學生分小組學習也有困難，教師可以帶著學生看圖讀故事。
5.教師指導學生朗讀故事。
6.在學生熟悉課文之后，建議以小組為單位表演故事。
7.教師可以根據學生的實際情況，試著幫助學生用簡單的英語復述故事。
8.教師組織學生討論：“讀了這個故事后想到了什么？”。
9.建議在學生活動的過程中可以引入課堂教學評價，如將課堂教學評價1的表格印發給學生，學生根據自己的情況隨時在表格上做評價。
