ⅰ、look and read
⑴出示圖片home, 讓學生說出單詞，并讓學生用home說一句話。如：i have a home. this is my home. my home is very nice.等。
⑵分別出示圖片bathroom, living room, bedroom, study, kitchen.告訴學生：they are rooms. 教讀單詞room.
⑶讓學生想一想，說一說所學過的單詞中還有哪個詞屬于room?引出classroom.可進一步問學生：what’s in the classroom?
⑷出示圖片school，教師問學生：is it a room? is it a home?讓學生回答：no, it isn’t. it’s a school.
ⅱ、look and match
教師分別在黑板一邊的左側貼上四張圖片，右側貼上四張單詞卡片或寫上四個單詞。請四名學生同時上來連一連。連完后請四名學生分別帶讀四個單詞的拼寫。
ⅲ、游戲“岳母刺字”
全班分成八個小組，教師揭示要寫的四會單詞給每組第一位同學看。第一位同學在第二位同學的背后寫上所看到的單詞，依序以此方式將單詞傳下去。請最后一名學生將本組單詞寫在黑板上的四線格中，又快又正確的組獲勝。
ⅳ、游戲：what's missing?
教師把本單元a部分的詞卡與home，room，school，classroom圖片混在一起，給學生快速看一下所有圖片，然后拿掉一張圖片讓學生猜一猜少了哪一張，猜對后拼讀該單詞。

在抄寫本上認真抄寫四個單詞，教師要巡回指導，及時糾正學生的錯誤。
write and say
ⅰ、write and say
獨立完成書本p48的填空，并讀一讀。然后校對答案，集體朗讀。
ⅱ、教師利用圖片或單詞卡讓學生試著說一句話或一段話。
如：look!this is my home. welcome to my home.
this is my home. in my home, you can see a big living room, two nice bedroom.
i have a nice room. in my room, you can see a small bed.
this is my school, s-c-h-doubleo-l ,school. it’s very nice. i like it very much.
this is my classroom. it’s big.
ⅲ、tongue twister
教師可以自己設計一個繞口令，帶領學生們讀一讀。
如：look at my home. it’s nice.          look at my room. it’s nice, too.
look at my classroom.  it’s big.     look at my school. it’s big , too.
welcome to my home,              welcome to my room.
welcome to my school,             welcome to my classroom.

2、能聽懂“let’s do”中的指示語，并按照指令做了相應的動作.

難點：1、單詞fridge, shelf, table的發音。
2、“let’s do”中“make the bed”、“answer the phone”、“set the table”三個詞組的發音及理解。
