教學設計：
step1(warm-up/ review)
ⅰ、let’s do
學生聽教師發出指令，快速反應做出相應動作。
stand up/ take a shower/ read a book/ make a cake/ open the window/ have a snack/ watch tv/ have a sleep/ sit down.
ⅱ、greetings with the ss. tell the ss that the t is happy these days because she bought a new house. she asks the ss for some suggestions to design the new house.
利用課件呈現新房子圖片，教師說：welcome to my home.用guessing game讓學生猜出各個房間，同時復習前幾課所學的有關房間名稱的詞匯。
step2 presentation
let’s learn
ⅰ、教師提問：what do i need for my new house?鼓勵學生說出以前所學的有關房間設施的詞匯，如：lamp, chair, tv, light等，同時呈現新單詞 phone, bed, sofa, shelf, fridge, table.練讀新單詞
ⅱ、game1: bomber 轟炸機
教師將所要朗讀單詞準備好教學卡片，再準備一張與單詞卡片大小一樣的，上面畫有一架轟炸機的圖片。將單詞卡任意排序，并在其中加入轟炸機圖片。學生依照卡片齊讀單詞，當出現轟炸機時全班立刻趴在桌上，最慢的人出局。
ⅲ、game2: what’s changed
課件呈現有六個新單詞的圖片，然后交換一個或兩個的位置，讓學生說出哪幾個東西的位置發生了變化，并用英語說出來。
ⅳ、教師說: you give me many good suggestion, now i’ll go shopping to buy these things. 課件呈現商品價目表，教師設置情景: i have only 8000 yuan, what can i buy?學生小組討論，設定最佳購買方案。
ⅴ、任務：用買來的家具裝修房間，鼓勵學生用：put the … in the… look, it’s very nice.等句型來表達。
ⅵ、listen to the radio and read after it.
let’s do
ⅰ、先聽錄音，然后跟說。對詞組make the bed/answer the phone/ set the table要特別地指導。
ⅱ、把班級分成兩大組，輪流給對方發指令，由對方做出動作，然后交換。如：ga：sit on the sofa.gb做出相應的動作。gb：make the bed.ga做出相應動作。以此類推.
ⅲ、集體跟錄音完整地做一遍。
step3 story time
ⅰ、看vcd中的故事或聽錄音，了解故事的大致內容。
ⅱ、根據學生掌握情況，安排當堂導一導，演一演或請學生回家準備下節課表演。學生可以根據自己的實際改變或節選故事。
step4 homework
ⅰ、活動手冊p32   listen and match
ⅱ、重新布置自己的家。

第五課時
教學目標：1、聽懂會說where are……? are they……? yes, they are./ no, they aren’t.
2、能將本課對話在實際情景和生活中運用，要求做到語音清楚、語調自然。
3、積極與他人合作，運用所學英語進行表達和交流。
          4、能哼唱let’s chant部分的歌謠。
教學重點和難點：
重點：人稱代詞they; 句型where are ……?are they ……? yes, they are. /no, they aren’t.
難點：人稱代詞they的引出.

ⅱ、let’s chant播放第一冊unit 2 b部分的歌謠錄音。學生說：“here it is.”教師要求學生用雙手指自己的眼睛、耳朵等，教師提問“where are your ears/eye……?”幫助學生回答：here they are.并改編chant:
