3 .leads students to greet each other, talk in sentence pattern previously learned.

presentation

t: we go to school every day. but how do we go to school? today we will talk about how we go out.

practice

1. try to use: 

1) show the students the sentence pattern cards at the blackboard, and read the sentences loudly.

2) show the pictures of by bus, by bike, on foot as a hint to the students, the students practice the sentence pattern.

3) t: we can go to school by bus, by bike, on foot. can we go to school by boat?

s: no.

4) show the pictures, the students practice collectively.

5) the teacher uses the pictures as a hint, the students practise in the form of half a class, group.

6) open the book and read aloud, replace the exercise among the deskmates.

7) regards group as the unit, the group leader ask, the other students answer, introduce the traffic way that they go to school, the group leader finishes statistics.

8) according to the pictures that the teacher offered and sentence pattern, the students select to write the sentence pattern.

2. learn to say:

1) t: it' s a sunny day. miss lin and her students are going to have a trip . where are they going? do you know?

s: they are going to the nature park.

t: you' re right. how do they go there?  guess, please

2) the students look at and the pictures, question after listening to the recorder.

t: how do they go to the nature park?  do they go there on foot or by bike?

s: they go there by bus

t: why?

s: the park is too far and they' re too young

t: very good. let' s read the text.

3) listen to the recording and read aloud the text.

4) start a role-piay to read aloud.

5) start performing according to the text content.

consolidation and extension

1. the teacher shows the picture of try to use, lead the students to adapt the text content.

2. appreciate the song of “how do you go to school?”

homework

1.      make sentences with sentence pattern of this lesson:
