1. sing the song“how do you go to school together? ”
2. free talk: the teachers and students greet each other.
3. play a game one by one.
presentation
show the pictures of ship, train, plane, subway. familiarize the students with the transportation vehicles. use the pattern of “what is this? what can you see?” to study words.
practice
1. try to use: 1) t: now boys and girls, let' s close our eyes and have a trip. do you know where we will go ? we are going to a beautiful city where are we now? then play the wave sound with the recorder, let them answer “we are in the ship”. teacher say “we go to yantai by ship”.
2) show the sentence pattern cards of “how do you go to?” and inquire the students “how do you go to yantai”. then show the answer card to let students answer.
3) stick picture of yantai and word of ship on the blank space of the sentence pattern, instruct the students to read sentences aloud.
4) teach “by train, by plane, by subway” in the same way. show the prepared scenery pictures listen the vehicles sound to study the words. practice the sentence pattern of “how do you go to? we go there by…”.
5) open the book, listen to the recording of the part of ‘try to use”, then read after them.
