while-task procedure
1. ask and answer: what colour was the sky? to elicit: it was black. ask: what colour is it now? to elicit: it’s blue.
2. ask and answer, using the other pictures.
3. play the cassette: look and read. the students listen and follow in their books.
4. read the text together.
5. the students quietly read the sentences and look at the pictures.
6. invite different students to read the sentences aloud.
7. read: read and say. the pictures show various colour changes in nature. working pairs, the students follow the model dialogue to talk about the changes in the pictures.
8. invite a few pairs to talk about the pictures in front of the class.
