一、教學三維目標:
1.知識目標:聽說讀寫句型 “a. grandpa is writing a letter.
b. brother is doing homework.
c. mom is cooking dinner in the kitchen.
d. he’s writing an e-mail in the study. ”
2.能力目標:用“mom is cooking dinner in the kitchen.”等句子介紹家人正在做什么。
3.情感目標:讓學生養成愛勞動的好習慣。
二、教學重點與難點:
1. 重點是掌握句型:mom is …in the …” 的書寫;
2. 用本課所學內容完成接聽電話的任務是重點也是難點;
3. “how’s everybody doing? just fine.”是教學難點也是新語言。

四、教學過程
1. preparation 準備活動
a chant: boys and girls, are you ready? ok, stand up, please. clap your hands, let’s have a chant:
grandma is cooking, cooking noodles;
sister is listening, listening to music;
mom is writing, writing an e-mail;
dad is reading, reading the newspaper.
(設計意圖:這是為新課做鋪墊的環節,必須靠溫故去知新,同時要簡潔,chant這種明快的形式,一方面能創設英語氛圍,另一方面會抓住孩子的“活潑好奇,善模仿,好交際”的特征,既激發學生的興趣,又做好新課的鋪墊。這時候如果孩子們動不起來,我就會用我的動態——體態、手勢、動作去引導,應當說這是我調動學生積極性的法寶。)
[目標 → 借助于老師體態語言的牽引,挖掘孩子的潛能,快速激起同學們的學習之情。]
2. pre—reading閱讀前活動
1)t: boys and girls, how are you today?
t: (逐步添加)how many people are there in your family? (問4-5個同學)
然后引出句型:how’s everybody doing? 并說出其意思,板書。
然后說出可以回答just fine.板書。
2)領讀2遍之后,讓學生practice in pairs.然后抽查幾組同學。
(設計意圖:借助于學生較熟知的how are you? how many people are there in your family? 等句型入手,導入并引出家庭話題how’s everybody doing? 化解難點,排除閱讀障礙。同時我還緊跟上了操練,使得對how’s everybody doing? just fine.難度系數降到最低。)
[目標 → 掃除閱讀材料中的難點,把攔路石搬掉。]
3. in – reading 閱讀中活動
◆1) general reading略讀
師在黑板上畫一個人物。ask: who is he? 并告訴學生:he is uncle larry.
t: uncle larry wants to speak to mike, now open your books, read this passage in silence (默讀), and find out : how many people are there in mike’s family? (課件出示問題)
(設計意圖:第一遍略讀,設置了how many people are there in mike’s family?這個問題,讓學生帶著這個簡單的問題進行快速閱讀,通過閱讀了解文章的大概內容,給學生自信。)
[目標 → 給學生以閱讀的自信心,為下一步的細讀做好鋪墊。]
◆2)detailed reading細讀
t: we know there are five people in mike’s family. what are they doing?
