示范
用漢語討論本單元篇章上圖片。女孩穿著什么？她在做什么？說明她正走在回家的路上。把home寫在黑板上，與學生一起讀幾遍。向學生說明本單元將學習有關家庭的一些用品和家庭活動的英語詞匯。
用漢語提問學生有關臥室的情況。問他們臥室里有什么物品和擺放什么家具。
與學生一起朗讀幾遍bedroom，同時把它寫在黑板上。并且給出它的漢語意思。
《教科書》：l25 n1
討論第25課中女孩臥室的圖片。

給學生解釋same和different的漢語意思。學生已認識picture這個單詞，教師讀這個單詞時，指著照片中的那幅圖片。
與學生一起朗讀幾遍單詞，同時用手指著畫有梳妝臺、壁櫥、燈和玩具熊的圖片。
向學生解釋，在加拿大，許多孩子有玩具熊。
播放錄音，讓學生看書跟讀。
練習
讓學生自由結組，輪流提問有關新單詞的圖片。

表演
讓自告奮勇的學生向全班學生表演他們造的句子。

帶領學生就《教科書》上的圖畫用英語進行討論：
教師：how many teddy bears are there?
全班：there are _____.
教師：what are they doing?
全班：jumping.

教師：yes. the teddy bears are jumping on the bed.
用漢語提問學生，為什么圖片上小熊的數目越來越少了，發生了什么事了？解釋”跌倒”和”撞擊”的意思。用動作表現fall off和bump，同時讀出這些單詞。
提問學生，jenny在干什么（談話）？她正在同誰談話？讀出：jenny calls the doctor.
提問學生，醫生說了什么？并且讀出：and the doctor says, “no more teddy bears jumping on the bed!”
與學生一起慢慢地朗讀每行歌詞，同時教師要做動作。
播放錄音，讓學生看書跟讀。再播放一遍錄音，與學生一起做表演唱。
