出示cai課件，問學生：
what’s li ming doing? (打電話)

what’s li ming doing?（聽收音機）
教授這些短語，并伴以相應的動作。教師要指出，當一個人拿起電話撥號時，他就是calling someone。當人們通過電話談話時，他們就是talk on the telephone。
b.操練
讓一名自告奮勇的學生站到前面，選出一幅黑板上的圖畫，然后表演規定的動作。帶領學生做問答練習：
t: (指著自告奮勇的學生挑選的黑板上的圖畫)what’s this?
c: a .或it’s a .
t: good, he/she is ing(on the /to the) .say it, please,class.
c: he/she’s ing(on the/to the) .
t: very good! (對自告奮勇的學生說)what are you doing?

如果需要，可以用答案提示學生。
出示cai課件，討論jenny的圖畫，向學生提問：
when does jenny leave school?
what jenny will do the first when she gets home?
what jenny will do after supper?
what jenny will do when she goes to bed?
學生試著回答。
再次看課件，讓學生跟著朗讀。
