一、教材分析
　　本課的主要語言項目為can i have some ..., please? sure. here you are. 課文對話是通過一張菜單而展開的。單詞rice, fish, beef, noodles在本冊前面學字母書寫時已經出現過，本單元要求學生在能聽說的基礎上對單詞進行認讀。
　　二、教法建議
　　本套教材在第一冊第五單元已經出現過此句型，在教學中，教師可在復習do you like...? i like...的基礎上用此句型引出新單詞rice, fish, beef, soup, noodles, vegetable. soup和vegetable則是第一次出現。在本單元的擴展活動中教師可給學生滲透what would you like? i'd like...這一句型，為學習下一課的內容作鋪墊。此外，菜單中在每張圖片后都有價格標示，教師也可用此練一練how much?這一句型。教師通過與學生共同演唱歌曲“let's have a picnic today". ［本套教材第一冊unit 5, let's sing/a部分］和開展聽做活動［第一冊unit 5 let's do/a, b部分］復習與本課有關的知識。教師可運用已學句型do you like...? yes, i do. no, i don't. 導入新單詞的學習。與let's play部分相結合，讓學生使用自己的學習卡片，模仿著來做對話：

　　教師可通過游戲活動讓學生能很好地掌握本課所學單詞。教師可在擴展性活動中，指導學生進行短劇表演。

教學過程：
（一）熱身/復習（warm-up/revision）
　　1.sing a song
　　教師放錄音［使用本套教材第一冊unit 5, let’s sing/a部分］，師生一起唱歌曲“let’s have
　　a picnic today”.
　　2.listen and do
　　教師發布口令，學生聽到之后做出相應的動作。（可借助于學生自己的單詞卡）
　　pour the water.
　　smell the coffee.
　　taste the tea.
　　show me the milk.
　　drink the juice.
　　cut the bread.
　　make the cake.
　　eat the hot dog.
　　show me the hamburger.
　　smell the chicken.
　　make the cake.
　　pass me the french fries.
（二）呈現新課 （presentation）
　　1.教師出示let’s learn部分的掛圖，讓學生說出圖上食物和飲料的名稱。教師指圖并越指越快，學生要迅速地說出被指食物和飲料的名稱。此項活動也可由學生輪流完成。
　　2.導入新單詞。教師與學生進行會話：
　　t: so many foods and drinks. i like humburger. do you like it?
　　s: yes, i do./no, i don’t.
　　t: what do you like?
　　s: i like …
