2、出示各種體形特征的人物圖片，告訴他們這些是老師的老師，請學生根據教師的描述猜猜他們各自是哪一學科的老師。（主要是復習上節課的詞匯和句型）
ii. presentation and practice
● 活動設計①：讓學生當“小導游”介紹自己各個學科的教師風采。教師根據學生的介紹板書出示兩個重點句型，然后教師提問，學生回答。
eg. s: mr zhao is my math teaher. he’s thin and short.
   t: who’s your math teacher?
   ss: mr zhao.
   t: what’s he like?
   ss: he’s thin and short.
● 活動設計②：
1、（事先請學生準備好）課上請幾名學生以啞劇形式并配道具表演各種神態或動作，并掛上準備好表示人物職業的胸卡來展現給學生，給學生以廣闊的想象空間，從而促使學生積極、主動思維。
t: look! there are three new teachers here. they want to meet us.（接著學生表演）
 t: do you have new teachers?
 ss: yes. we have a new science teacher.
 t: who’s your science teacher? （可由學生提問）
 ss: miss liu.
 t: what’s she like? （可由學生提問）
 ss: she’s very young and kind.
2、讓學生三人一組自創對話，也可擴充談論computer teacher、p.e. teacher、music teacher. etc. 越多越好。
● 活動設計③：用學生課前準備好的一張心目中最理想的學科教師圖片，請學生進行自由對話。教師規定必須使用以上兩個句型。最后，評出一位最受歡迎教師。
● 活動設計④：open your book，聽錄音let’s talk.部分，讓學生進行對話表演。
● 活動設計⑤：課件出示let’s chant. 部分內容。先請同學們根據看到的內容來描述，再播放錄音，學生根據節奏跟讀。（根據歌謠內容設計課件，數學老師拿個三角板顯得很有智慧的樣子在講課。英語老師嘴巴冒出許多字母，胸口放出很多愛心。強壯的體育老師在足球場上馳騁。音樂老師邊彈鋼琴邊唱歌。）
iii. consolidation and extension
    布置口頭作業：學會描繪自己的教師或家庭成員。
第三課時
教學目標及要求
1、 能聽懂、會說本課時單詞及詞組：principal, university student, strict, smart, active；
2、能聽懂、會說句型：who’s …?  he’s from…. what’s he like? 并能在情景中進行運用；
3、能聽懂let’s chant.的歌謠，并按照節奏來念；
4、能運用上節課的詞匯進行pairwork鞏固練習；
5、能在教師的指導下完成read and write。
課前準備
1、 發給學生寫有young/funny/heavy/kind/old/short/thin等形容詞以及english teacher/art teacher/science teacher等職業名詞的卡片；
2、 準備字母卡片。
教學建議
ⅰ.warm-up
1、聽唱 “my new teacher”；
2、反饋第二課時口頭作業，將pair work內容提前，鞏固本單元新句型：what’s he/she like? 和part a所學形容詞young/funny/heavy/kind/old/short/thin　以及職業名詞english teacher/art teacher/science teacher, 以作適當補充和擴展。
